STERLING TRANSPORTATION MAKES KEY APPOINTMENTS TO ITS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Los Angeles, CA -- Sept 15 2008.  

Sterling Transportation, the Los Angeles-based premier provider of expedited LTL service between California and Florida, has made key appointments to its executive management team.

 

Keith Davis, Sterling’s founder and owner, has assumed the role of Chairman and CEO and will be focusing on the mid- and long-term corporate and financial strategies for the company.

Effective immediately, Bruce Roberts has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Roberts was corporate vice president prior to his important appointment, and in his new capacity will take responsibility to lead the overall direction of the company.

Sinara Pereira, previously vice president and controller, has been appointed as Vice President-Finance, and in this capacity will have overall responsibility for corporate financial affairs.

Richard Garcia, formerly regional manager Southeast U.S., has been appointed as Regional Vice President-Southeast U.S. Mr. Garcia is based in Miami, FL.

Ty Bradford has joined Sterling as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Bradford has an extensive background in the airfreight industry and brings over twenty years of operational expertise to Sterling Transportation.

All three executives will report to Mr. Roberts.
