Sterling Transportation is proud to announce the addition of Wayne DeFelice as Vice President of Technology, strengthening the company’s leadership team and reinforcing its commitment to innovation and service excellence across its nationwide expedited LTL and truckload network.
DeFelice brings more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, having built his career from the ground up. Starting as a lumper, he advanced through roles including Manifester, Loader, Supervisor, Terminal Manager, Regional Manager, and Director—culminating most recently as Senior Director of IT and Strategic Planning and Head of Logistics Operations. Over the past decade, his focus has been on TMS improvements (Trans-Soft) and systems integrations, with a special emphasis on technology that enhances operational efficiency and customer experience.
